The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has released details of 'IAAPA Celebrates at Universal Orlando Resort', which will take place on November 20, during IAAPA Attractions Expo 2014.

During the event, participants will mix and mingle with new contacts, long-time business partners and industry friends during this private, professional networking event.

IAAPA Attractions Expo is expected to draw more than 27,000 attractions industry professionals and is the largest annual conference and trade show for the $24bn global attractions industry.

The expo takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, on November 17-21.

IAAPA Celebrates attendees will have unlimited access to the all-new The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal's Islands of Adventure after the theme parks close to the public.

Attendees can enjoy Diagon Alley including the multi-dimensional thrill ride, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts; board the Hogwarts Express to travel between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade; and experience the next generation of thrill rides, Transformers: The Ride-3D, which fuses high-definition 3D film and flight simulation technology.

"We are thrilled to join with Universal Orlando Resort to offer our expo attendees this exclusive experience," said IAAPA president and CEO, Paul Noland.

"IAAPA Celebrates builds on the energy of an Expo week full of can't-miss networking events at world-class venues showcasing the industry's newest rides and technology."

IAAPA Attractions Expo is the gathering place for attraction industry leaders, decision makers, and visionaries to view the latest innovations, plan for the future, learn from each other and network.

IAAPA previously announced that Jim Pattison, president of Ripley Entertainment, will address attractions industry leaders as the GM and Owners' Breakfast keynote speaker on November 19.

Pattison will tell the compelling story of Ripley Entertainment, stretching back to 1918 when founder Robert Ripley began to establish himself as a household name with the popular cartoon 'Believe It or Not!'
