Tiana’s Palace restaurant will be dining its guests this autumn after Disneyland New Orleans Square announced that it will open to the public on 7 September.
The theme of the restaurant comes from The Princess and the Frog.
Disney confirmed that “In the film, Disney Animation artists added a wheelhouse and two smokestacks to give Tiana’s restaurant an iconic silhouette, so when the time came to bring Tiana’s Palace to life at Disneyland, Disney Imagineers made those same additions to create the real Tiana’s Palace, making this a full circle moment.”
The opening of the restaurant is part of Disney’s plans to open Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in 2024. This will take the place of Splash Mountain and follow the adventures of Tiana, Naveen, and Louis.
