Aquarabia Qiddiya City officially welcomes visitors on 23 April 2026, marking a major milestone for Saudi Arabia’s flagship entertainment destination south‑west of Riyadh. The Aquarabia Qiddiya City opening anchors Qiddiya City’s first phase of leisure offerings and adds a high‑profile water park to the Kingdom’s growing tourism portfolio. For operators and suppliers, the date confirmation locks in one of the region’s most closely watched projects for the upcoming Eid and summer trading periods.
Spread across more than 250,000 square metres, Aquarabia Qiddiya City is described as the Middle East’s largest water theme park, featuring twenty‑two rides and attractions and multiple world‑first elements. The park is organised into eight or nine themed zones inspired by Saudi Arabia’s wildlife and desert landscapes, blending high‑adrenaline slides, surf experiences and family play areas. Headline hardware includes Junoon Drop, promoted as the tallest and longest water coaster, Slithereel slide wheel, Speedy Jamezales aqualoop and the Kingdom’s first surf pool. WhiteWater has delivered much of the slide package, including several record‑breaking attractions and signature water rides such as the Spinning Rapids Ride.
Beyond the attractions, the Aquarabia Qiddiya City opening introduces a full‑service guest offer aimed at day visitors and resort guests. The park incorporates 91 private cabanas, 24 food and beverage outlets and seven retail stores, alongside premium products such as AquaFast Pass and dedicated surf sessions. Operations are scheduled daily from 12:00 to 20:00, with Fridays designated as ladies‑only days, and advance bookers can secure discounted admission. The soft‑opening period earlier in 2026 has already allowed WhiteWater and Qiddiya teams to bed in operations and fine‑tune capacity strategies.
The water park will sit alongside Six Flags Qiddiya City and other phase‑one assets, helping to build year‑round visitation and international awareness. As additional zones and complementary attractions come on stream, Aquarabia is expected to play a central role in positioning Qiddiya City as a short‑break and resort destination for domestic and regional markets.
