Aquasplash Antibes will open a 14-metre triple slide tower, reworked wave pool and expanded guest areas on 13 June 2026 as part of a significant Riviera investment.

Aquasplash Antibes expansion 2026 signals a step change for the Côte d’Azur water park ahead of the peak summer season. From 13 June, the Parques Reunidos property will debut four new attractions, including a 14-metre slide tower and a substantially enlarged wave pool, following a land take from the former Kid’s Island site. The project increases the park footprint by about 14,000 square metres, close to a 40 per cent uplift in total area.

At the heart of the Aquasplash Antibes expansion 2026 is Triple Tour, a new slide complex that groups three distinct experiences into one tower structure. Riviera Sphere, supplied by WhiteWater West, offers a family rafting slide for two to four riders, starting at 14 metres and extending 175 metres in length. Azur Fall targets high-intensity riders with a capsule-based freefall descent of around 15 metres, reaching average speeds of 40 to 50 km/h over a 96-metre course. Nice Race completes the tower with a two-lane mat racer slide of 121 metres, designed for head-to-head runs and a stated capacity of about 340 people per hour.

Alongside the new slide hardware, the park has reworked its Splash Pool wave venue. The pool will grow from 680 to 1,500 square metres, with stated capacity rising from roughly 1,400 to 3,000 guests at any one time. A new wave system from Murphys Waves will support several distinct wave patterns, with the park positioning the experience as a more ‘authentic’ yet accessible sea-style environment.

The extension also brings additional rest zones, F&B and leisure areas to absorb higher dwell times and redistribute guests from the main slide cluster. Aquasplash Antibes, which opened in 1985 next to the now-closed Marineland, frames the 2026 investment as part of a broader repositioning of the wider site on the French Riviera. The park is due to open its 2026 season on 13 June with the full line-up in place.
