The UK Theme Park Awards 2026 will take place at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort on 10 September 2026, marking a high‑profile return to the North West for the annual celebration of the sector. The event, organised by Theme Park Network, is positioned as a key date in the calendar for operators, suppliers and industry stakeholders across the UK.
For 2026, Pleasure Beach Resort will partner once again with TAG Live® as production company, following last year’s ceremony at Wicksteed Park, which drew more than 180 trade guests and thousands of online viewers. Theme Park Network, publisher of ThemeParks‑UK, will again combine an expert judging panel with a large‑scale public vote, maintaining the awards’ mix of industry insight and broad consumer reach. In 2025, over 300,000 public votes helped decide the winners, underlining how engaged the UK audience has become with the awards.
Pleasure Beach Resort, which has enjoyed recent success at the UK Theme Park Awards, sees hosting duties as a chance to spotlight both its heritage seafront setting and current investment programme, including new attraction Aviktas. The resort’s leadership team, headed by CEO Amanda Thompson OBE, has highlighted the opportunity to showcase the park’s mix of classic thrill rides and refreshed experiences to peers and partners. Marketing and commercial teams also view the 2026 event as a platform to reinforce Blackpool’s wider tourism offer and the resort’s role within it.
Nominations for the UK Theme Park Awards 2026 will open later this year, with a shortlist created from public submissions and expert input before voting goes live. Categories will continue to recognise excellence in rides, shows, events and guest experience across both large groups and independent attractions. Further details on hosts, presenters and the full judging panel will follow in the coming months on the official awards website at ukthemeparkawards.com.
