Color Line has signed a new partnership with RWS Global to create next‑generation live entertainment on board Color Magic, with the first two RWS Global shows set to debut in September. The collaboration aims to lift the overall guest offer on Color Line’s flagship route by pairing the line’s cruise and ferry expertise with RWS Global’s track record in large‑scale, Broadway‑quality productions. For both companies, the Color Line RWS Global partnership is positioned as the start of a broader, long‑term creative relationship at sea.
Under the Color Line RWS Global agreement, the New York–headquartered entertainment specialist will handle concept development and full production for the new shows on Color Magic. Each production will blend music, comedy, strong visual design and acrobatics, with formats tuned to Color Line’s mixed leisure and conference audience on the Oslo–Kiel route. RWS Global already produces work for cruise brands such as Holland America Line, MSC Cruises, Marella Cruises, Azamara, Fred. Olsen Cruise Line, Cunard and P&O Cruises, giving Color Line access to deep experience in both shipboard staging and multi‑demographic appeal.
Color Line positions the Color Line RWS Global collaboration as a key step in evolving its entertainment strategy across the fleet. The company is Norway’s largest cruise and ferry operator, serving year‑round routes between Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany with a focus on safety, sustainability and guest satisfaction. On board, Color Line combines transport and short‑break cruising, offering dining, retail and live entertainment designed to engage families, business travellers and conference guests. The new productions on Color Magic are expected to sit alongside existing shows, live music and seasonal concepts, giving the line fresh tools to differentiate itself in the competitive European cruise and ferry market.
