Thomas Mazloum, President of Disneyland Resort, has been named the next Chairman of Disney Experiences, overseeing the company’s global portfolio of theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, and consumer products. The announcement came on 10 March 2026. Thomas Mazloum steps into the role on 18 March, the same day Josh D’Amaro formally becomes Disney’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mazloum brings deep operational knowledge of Disney Experiences, a strong record of international leadership, and a long-standing commitment to Disney’s cast members and creative culture. His career arc is broad. He began his Disney career in 1998, left the company to serve as Chief Operating Officer for Crystal Cruise Line, then returned to Disney in 2017 as Senior Vice President of Operations at Walt Disney World Resort. Before Disney, he built his foundation in European luxury hospitality.

The scale of the role is significant. Disney Experiences generated $36 billion in revenue in fiscal 2025 and represents over 70% of Disney’s overall operating income. Thomas Mazloum now stewards the single most profitable division in the entire Walt Disney Company. He also inherits responsibility for executing the company’s commitment to invest $60 billion in the division through 2033.

Mazloum’s promotion triggers a cascade of senior leadership changes across Disney Experiences. Jill Estorino has been named President of Disneyland Resort, succeeding Mazloum. Tasia Filippatos takes over as President of Disney Parks International. Lisa Baldzicki steps up as President of Disney Consumer Products. All roles take effect 18 March 2026.

D’Amaro did not hold back in his assessment. “Thomas Mazloum is an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our cast members and a proven track record of delivering growth,” he said. For the global attractions industry, the leadership change at the top of the world’s largest theme park operator carries weight. Strategy, capital allocation, and expansion plans across Disney’s parks – including a new park planned for Abu Dhabi – now sit firmly with Thomas Mazloum.
