Romania plans to build a new amusement park themed to Dracula called ‘DraculaLand’.
The themed destination would be located nearby Bucharest, and close to its main airport, covering 160 hectares.
The amusement park comes with a significant investment of €1 billion.
DraculaLand will cover 780,000-square-metres with six distinct zones and more than 40 major attractions, a 22,500-seat multifunctional arena for concerts, esports competitions and international events.
Moreover, the plans include luxury apparel and home goods store developed in partnership with designers from Milan and Florence.
In addition, investors plan to include three hotels, a water park and thermal spa, a long racetrack and a technology centre for startups and game studios within DraculaLand.
At least 3 million visitors are expected to come to the park annually. The project is projected to create over 5,000 jobs and generate €5 billion in revenue over the next 10 years.
