ENDLESS SURF has installed its flagship ES36 surf lagoon at ADRENA, the new sports and entertainment district at The Red Sea destination in western Saudi Arabia. Positioned on a prime stretch of coastline close to Red Sea International Airport and Shura Island, the project places the ENDLESS SURF ES36 at the heart of a wider adventure offer led by Red Sea Global. The ENDLESS SURF ES36 surf lagoon delivers a saltwater wave experience that targets both core surfers and resort guests new to the sport.
At ADRENA, the ENDLESS SURF ES36 combines pneumatic wave technology with Swell Studio software to shape wave height, length, angle and interval in real time. Operators can programme distinct zones for learners, intermediates and advanced riders, or flip the ENDLESS SURF ES36 lagoon into an event mode with customised sessions and competition-style sets. The pool uses a closed-loop seawater system fed directly from the Red Sea, with filtration and recirculation designed to return water clean while preserving a buoyant, ocean-like feel. With no machinery placed underwater, ENDLESS SURF also simplifies maintenance and supports a clean basin design.
ADRENA itself is conceived as a year-round action sports zone, pairing the ENDLESS SURF ES36 surf lagoon with more than 20 additional activities. These include a wakeboarding lake, FlowSurf stationary wave, skate and BMX facilities, snorkel trails, cliff jumping, slip ’n’ fly slides, a multilevel Aquaplay structure, zip lines, climbing elements, obstacle courses and beach sport areas. Many of these attractions, including the Endless Surf lagoon and FlowSurf, have been delivered by WhiteWater, ENDLESS SURF’s parent company, as part of an integrated supply package.
For suppliers and developers, ADRENA demonstrates how a surf lagoon can anchor a mixed‑use adventure district and extend dwell time in a high-end coastal resort context.
