Germany’s Europa Park had to be evacuated this past Monday (19 June) after a blaze started in a control room of a ride.
More than 25,000 guests had to be moved away from the scene as plumes of smoke billowed into the sky but were evacuated in a safe manor.
German press stated that two firefighters suffered slight injuries while attempting to control the blaze.
The zone where the fire began is now closed off to begin investigations into exactly how the fire began. However, all other parts of Europa Park have reopened.
