Knoebels Amusement Resort is in the midst of a spooktacular celebration as the amusement park celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Haunted Mansion this past 30 June.
The Haunted Mansion was built in 1972 and provided special events for its guests.
The festivities began with a morning panel accompanied by the original ride designer, ride caretakers, members of the Knoebels family and a representative from the Dark Attraction & Funhouse Enthusiasts club.
The first 500 guests then enjoyed a slice of birthday cake and a special Haunted Mansion ticket.
There were also anniversary souvenir cups on offer and a scavenger hunt, with the chance to win a prize pack with $250 worth of prizes.
The Haunted Mansion has been enhanced this season with a new on-ride photo section.
