LCI Productions returns to Windsor Great Park with a new chapter of the much-loved seasonal light trail, delivering the largest collection of new installations and interactive experiences since the attraction began.
This year, LCI Productions have elevated the guest journey with bold AV, inventive storytelling and character-led surprises.
Latest installations illuminate with glee
The 2025 edition introduces a suite of landmark new experiences, including a 24-metre custom built illuminated train with glowing carriages at the entrance, a reimagined Laser Gardens and an expanded water programme featuring contemporary digital artworks projected onto a waterscreen.
Returning audiences will find an entirely refreshed narrative woven across the park, brought to life through new characters, holographic scenes and multisensory environments.
Moreover, other new additions include, a custom-built LED Santa house, an interactive elf snowball fight using holofan technology, ‘Middle woods’ a magical forest installation featuring 500 lanterns, ‘Woodfest’ where guests are greeted by a hologram security guard which takes them through to a pyramid stage, hologram performers animals.
Meanwhile, an all-new 3D Snowman hologram installation, featuring a 1.8m body and 1.2m head built from a 5mm pixel pitch LED screen, as well as moon, owl and wolf holograms.
The trail closes with a finale water show featuring fountains and waterscreen projections and repeat guests will once again encounter ‘Douglas’, the projection-mapped tree that has become a beloved fan favourite.
Consequently, the immersive walkthrough experience continues to blend original characters, interactive storytelling and AV innovations. Holofans, lasers, dynamic LED environments, haze-based holograms, water projections and large-scale scenic builds form a cohesive, multisensory journey curated by LCI’s in-house designers, animators, concept artists and technologists.
LCI Productions remains focused on expanding the creative ambition of the trail while maintaining sustainable practices. LED systems, low-impact materials, and considered power distribution continue to underpin the development of the attraction.
Rob Paul, Design Director, LCI Productions comments: “Designing this 2.2km trail is always a privilege, and this year’s trail has been an incredible opportunity to push the boundaries of what an outdoor light experience can be.
“A seamless flow across the site”
“The 2026 additions allowed our team to explore new combinations of holography, projection, lasers and scenic builds, alongside original characters and narrative beats. Each zone has a fresh reimagination to offer richer detail, more interactivity and a seamless flow across the site.”
