The Italian family park has opened Reversum, a Mack Rides spinning coaster that completes its Crazy Circus themed area.
Leolandia has opened the Reversum family spinning coaster at its theme park in Capriate San Gervasio, Lombardy. The new Mack Rides attraction opened on 25 April 2026, during the park’s 55th anniversary season.
Leolandia is broadening its offer for families with older children. The Reversum family spinning coaster also completes the park’s Crazy Circus themed area, which opened in 2025.
Reversum is described by the park as its most significant attraction to date. Its free-spinning cars give each ride cycle a different rhythm, while keeping the experience within the family thrill category. The ride uses a Mack Rides spinning coaster system. According to RCDB, Reversum is a steel sit-down coaster with spinning cars and no inversions.
The attraction operates with two trains and has an hourly capacity of around 1,000 guests. Children can ride from 105 centimetres when accompanied. They can ride alone from 130 centimetres.
The ride also supports Leolandia’s wider development plan. The park has linked Reversum to a three-year investment programme worth more than €30 million. That plan includes the Dragons and Legends area and the 20,000sq m Crazy Circus zone.
Reversum’s theme places the coaster inside a circus world. Leolandia’s own anniversary material refers to trapeze-swinging monkeys and a higher-adrenaline ride offer for the 2026 season.
Reversum also carries market significance for Italy as Italy’s first family spinning coaster and the first new roller coaster to open in the country in ten years. It also gives Leolandia a stronger position in the regional family market, where ride novelty and themed environments both matter.
Leolandia has built its recent growth around recognisable family brands, themed lands and age-bridging attractions. Reversum adds a larger ride statement to that strategy. It also gives the park a new anchor for its 55th season.
