Liseberg are to create a new waterpark called Oceana.
The Swedish park, who are celebrating their centenary season, are set to open the new water park during the 2023 season.
Liseberg are heavily investing in its park with £200m to be made available for all entertainment enhancements.
The 100-year anniversary is proving to be a busy time for Liseberg as the theme park has opened the Liseberg Grand Hotel Curiosa. The hotel can accommodate 400 rooms, a restaurant, F&B and terrace overlooking the park.
In a novel feature, the hotel includes the ‘1923 carousel’ in homage to the year the park opened and an impressive slide connecting the second and third floors.
