Liseberg welcomes 100 invited guests from 100 different countries in celebration of the park’s latest roller coaster.
Made by Vekoma with its Family Boomerang Coaster, Luna was given its celebratory ride with the aid of a centenary of countries. 2,600 people applied from across the world to be one of the first to ride Luna.
“It was moving to see so many people come together for a ‘moon trip’ in one place. We need more of that in these times!” said Mårten Westlund. PR and communications manager Liseberg.
“We want as many countries as possible to have the opportunity, so we will continue to send people to the moon throughout the year. There are still 94 nations that haven’t gone yet.”
