Nemesis Sub-Terra reawaken at Alton Towers this spring

Listen to this article

Nemesis Sub-Terra free fall tower is set to return to haunt Alton Towers this springtime.

The ABC Rides attraction was opened to the public ahead of the 2012 season. However, due to differing factors, it closed eight years ago in 2014 with just two years of shelf life.

It is scheduled to reopen on Saturday 27 May with a fresh makeover, including a new logo, which will go hand in hand with Nemesis roller coaster when it reopens next year.

Nemesis is undergoing technical refits with 716-meters of track material being enhanced fit for modern day riding.
