Isla Mágica, based in Seville in southern Spain, has announced an exciting new attraction for 2023.

The park has confirmed a new hot air balloon ride called Nao Vigía will commence its voyage in July.

The balloon will reach heights of 150-metres (492ft).

“We will take you to the highest point to live an unforgettable adventure onboard Nao Vigía,” is how the park confirmed the news on its social networks.

Isla Mágica has been in dialogue with the city’s council and aviation authorities to get the green light for the balloon to operate within the airspace of the park.

Nao Vigía represents a major coup for Isla Mágica – opening its first main attraction since the pandemic. The attraction maintains the traction gained by the park being taken over by French leisure entertainment company Looping Group back in 2013, securing an 82.78% controlling stake of the theme park.

The Spanish park attractions around 600,000 guests each year and with its new airborne attraction of Nao Vigía, aims to reach for the skies further.
