Parques Reunidos has announced that its headquarters and all its Spanish parks have successfully renewed the “S for Sustainable Tourism” certification granted by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE).
“This renewal is a testament to the collective effort of our teams across Spain,” said Parques Reunidos Chief HSE and Sustainability Officer Isidora Díaz.
“We are deeply committed to ensuring that sustainability is embedded in how we operate, innovate, and deliver memorable experiences for our guests.”
The “S for Sustainable Tourism” mark recognises organisations that actively implement and uphold the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the 2030 Agenda.
Consequently, the operator reinforces its alignment with global sustainability objectives.
“By maintaining this certification, Parques Reunidos continues to lead the way in sustainable leisure and tourism management, fostering a balance between entertainment, environmental protection, and social responsibility, concluded Diaz.
