Save the date: Parque Warner’s Batman attraction sets opening date

Parque Warner in Madrid has announced the much-awaited roller coaster attraction of Batman: Gotham City Escape will open on 13 May.

The coaster, constructed by Intamin and designed by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and P&P Projects, will be a multi-launched system powered by magnetic propulsion and will cover 1,010-metres (3,313ft) in length and last for 111 seconds.

The signature element of Batman: Gotham City Escape will be its top hat of 45-metres (147ft).

The coaster will feature in total four inversions and three launches, propelling passengers to more than 100km/h (62mph)

Passengers will be transported to the dark world of Gotham City and take on the principal role of Batman.
