Shanghai Disney Resort to adopt pioneering smart tourism plan

Shanghai Disneyland are at the forefront of a new tourism plan dedicated to aiding tourism flow in China.

The resort is to become one of the first official tourism destinations in China to adopt this smart tourism initiative. China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism is overseeing the campaign which is being rolled out at 25 attractions throughout the country.

Such solutions which the smart tourism plan will bring include utilizing 5G technology, virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.

It is expected that the 5G network facilities at all parks will be online during 2025.
