Drayton Manor is set to offer a new Thomas the Tank Engine themed attraction this month with the opening of Thomas & Percy’s submarine Splash.

The new aquatic attraction is set to open on 29 April which will be a baby flume incorporating two mini drops.

The ride will coincide with the fifteenth anniversary of Thomas Land.

The story of the ride depicts guests commencing their voyage on Brendam Docks to help Thomas and Percy return the submarine to Vicarstown Museum, calling in aid from Harold the Helicopter.

“We are thrilled to be able to expand upon the more than 25 rides and attractions at Thomas Land and offer new experiences for families to enjoy together,” said Julie Freeland, Sr. Director at Mattel.

“With the addition of Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash, Thomas fans will be able to partake in even more immersive adventures with their favourite Thomas & Friends characters whether by land, air or sea.”
