Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been recognized by TripAdvisor as the best Amusement park in the UK.
The Blackpool-based park was ranked 8th in the world and 1st in the UK for Best Amusement Park in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards.
Director of Operations, Andy Hygate said: “Winning any award is an achievement in its own right but being voted Best of the Best in the UK and 8th in the world in the Amusement Park category of the Travellers’ Choice Awards is particularly special to us.
“This award has been chosen by real travellers and real adventurers, meaning that we can honourably acknowledge that Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a place where people can truly enjoy themselves. Our guests are at the heart of our service, and we will ensure we continue to be the best at what we do.
“Now that we can officially hold an award in our hands, the achievement feels really real. As always, we would like to thank all of our new and returning guests for visiting us, and ultimately contributing to our legacy.”
Other categories in the awards include hotels, restaurants, beaches, outdoor activities, and historical tours. Blackpool Pleasure Beach finished ahead of other prominent attractions including Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Dollywood, Walt Disney studios, Legoland California and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
