Vortex Launches Epik N°1 & N°2 to Supercharge Splashpad® Play

Montreal-based Vortex Aquatic Structures International has expanded its VECTORY™ line with two new signature attractions, Epik N°1 and Epik N°2, unveiled on 5 February 2026. Designed for high-capacity Splashpad® projects, municipal aquatic centres and destination parks, the pair targets operators looking to add iconic focal points that combine strong visual impact with intensive interactive play.

Both structures are large-scale sculptural features built around a dual-bucket configuration that alternates water dumps to create unpredictable splash sequences and continuous guest movement. The system is driven by SplashSync™, a patent-pending Vortex control technology that synchronises water action to maintain high energy while optimising water consumption — a key concern for public-sector and private operators alike.

Epik N°1 offers a pronounced vertical profile with twin tipping buckets designed to deliver immersive, overhead soak moments, while Epik N°2 extends the footprint with dual-sided buckets that send water in multiple directions to generate broader play zones and higher throughput. Both are intended as centrepiece elements that anchor wider aquatic play schemes and support social, multi-user interaction.

Epik N°1 and N°2 join the VECTORY™ collection, which now stands at 12 products, reinforcing Vortex’s push into choreographed, experience-led aquatic play. Founded in 1995 and recognised as the creator of the first Splashpad®, Vortex has delivered more than 12,000 installations in over 50 countries from its headquarters in Montreal and regional offices in the US, Spain and the Netherlands.
