WhiteWater’s 2026 pipeline spans water parks, surf lagoons, cruise attractions and municipal venues across the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.

WhiteWater has outlined more than 60 project openings worldwide for 2026, as the Vancouver-based water attractions specialist marks its 45th anniversary.

The programme spans WhiteWater’s Water Parks, Water Rides, FlowRider®, Endless Surf and Vantage brands. It also reflects a wider shift in the attractions market. Water-based experiences are moving beyond traditional water parks into resorts, cruise destinations, sports facilities, residential communities and municipal leisure centres.

The Middle East sits at the centre of the year’s headline activity. Aquarabia Qiddiya City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, features 22 attractions, including four record-breaking water slides, a Shoot the Chute, a Spinning Rapids Ride and an Endless Surf lagoon. The project sits beside Six Flags Qiddiya City, which opened with a WhiteWater Log Flume.

Saudi Arabia will also see ADRENA at The Red Sea add an Endless Surf ES36 saltwater lagoon, a FlowSurf™ attraction, an AquaPlay 1750 and HydroLaunch slides. In Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld has opened an expansion with eight WhiteWater slides, including the UAE’s tallest waterslide at more than 40 metres.

Europe’s activity shows a different pattern. Several projects focus on indoor, compact and mixed-use facilities. Sportoase De Watermolen in Sint Niklaas, Belgium, has opened with six slides, including an interactive gaming slide, plus AquaPlay 200 and spray toys.

In Luxembourg-Arlon, Surf Luxembourg has added a FlowSurf™ attraction beside the Van der Valk Hotel. Funtasia Theme Park in Drogheda, Ireland, is adding three large slides within its existing water park footprint.

Southern Europe and Türkiye bring larger-scale expansion. PortAventura’s Caribe Aquatic Park in Vila-Seca, Spain, is set to introduce AquaAdrenaline™, described by WhiteWater as a harness-free aquatic adventure course over a pool. In Antalya, The Land of Legends is adding 18 slides and a splash pad, led by a 50-metre water slide tower.

Asia Pacific remains a strong region for slide records and aquatic play. VinWonders Vũ Yên opened what WhiteWater identifies as Asia’s tallest water slide tower in late 2025. VinWonders Nha Trang has followed with Southeast Asia’s first SlideWheel®.

Sun World Vũng Tàu in Vietnam is opening a new water park with 32 WhiteWater slides. The mix includes the world’s longest Mini Blaster and the largest AquaForms structure, with 20 platforms. In Australia, WhiteWater is opening its first project with Swimplex Aquatics at Denise Spencer Memorial Pool in Roma, Queensland.

Latin America’s 2026 pipeline includes major surf and family raft projects. Thermas dos Laranjais in Olímpia, Brazil, is preparing to open ‘Nações’, a 32-metre tower with two six-person Family Blaster fusion raft rides. Brasil Surfe Club Aretê Búzios in Rio de Janeiro will feature an Endless Surf ES48 lagoon.

Mexico will also receive an Endless Surf ES48 lagoon at Cabo Real Surf Club. In Guatemala, IRTRA will double the size of Xocomil water park in San Martín Zapotitlán, with new body slides, raft rides, racing slides and a FusionFortress 10. In Chile, Fantasilandia in Santiago will add a Parallel Pursuit racing complex with six lanes.

North America shows the broadest venue mix. Dollywood in Tennessee has upgraded Daredevil Falls with 12 new Super Flume boats. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, Hersheypark and Soaky Mountain Waterpark are also refreshing water park assets.

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is expanding its Wisconsin Dells water park by 75,000sq ft. Its new mix includes children’s slides, Parallel Pursuit competition slides and two six-person family raft rides. A new Kalahari property in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, will include a 175,000sq ft indoor water park and a FlowRider® Double.

WhiteWater’s 2026 activity also extends into cruise. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas will include a RainFortress 5, 19 slides and a 170ft slide tower. Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas will receive a FlowRider® Wave-in-the-Box.

Geoff Chutter, WhiteWater’s CEO, said: ‘It’s very exciting to see our two start-ups, Vantage and Endless Surf, each opening multiple projects this year across five different venue types. From the beginning, we built WhiteWater to provide everything a venue needs to entertain with water. We’ve always brought the latest innovations backed by our engineering strength to create crowd pleasers that work hard.’

Onno Meeter, president, Water Parks, added: ‘It means a lot to us that we are trusted by new and repeat clients, from renowned global brands to municipal governments, to bring extraordinary experiences to their guests, no matter where in the world.’
