The California water theme park will open its 900-foot lazy river attraction this summer, finalising a project 25 years in the making.
Wild Water Adventure Park has unveiled the official name of its new attraction, Endless River. Located in Clovis, California, the 52-acre site is the largest water park in the state. The newly named Endless River will debut for the 2026 summer season. The build breaks a quarter-century wait for the park, as the concept sat on internal drawing boards for over two decades.
The linear loop measures more than 900 feet in length and 14 feet in width. Water depths will range from 30 to 66 inches, flowing in a steady counter-clockwise direction. To ensure accessibility for all demographics, the channel features multiple entry points alongside a zero-depth, beach-style entry. The park also plans to install several food and drink pop-up kiosks along the route to drive secondary revenue.
Kathy Siggers, owner and chief operating officer of Wild Water Adventure Park, noted that the addition is a major milestone for the venue. ‘It is a ride that everyone has been asking for for a long time,’ Siggers stated. ‘It is meant for tiny ones and senior citizens, and anyone in between.’
The project broke ground late last year on a previously undeveloped field on the western edge of the property. The site already houses 38 water slides, a massive wave pool, and several children’s splash pads. Regional operators understand that high-thrill slide towers can alienate older guests or families with infants. Adding the Endless River rebalances the ride inventory and extends the daily dwell time of visitors.
