Disneyland Paris has revealed that its Up‑inspired family attraction at Disney Adventure World will be called Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, ahead of a 2027 opening.

Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings has been confirmed as the official name for the new family attraction inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Up, now under construction at Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris. Set to open in 2027, the ride forms part of the Adventure Way development, which is reshaping the approach to the park with a series of themed gardens and character‑led experiences. For operators and suppliers, the announcement locks in a key IP‑driven anchor for the resort’s multi‑year expansion phase.

Located opposite Raiponce Tangled Spin, Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings will sit at the heart of a new garden area dedicated to Up and the Wilderness Explorers scouting club. Guests will join Russell and fellow explorers on an aerial adventure designed as a swing‑style ride offering elevated views across Disney Adventure World. The ride experience is tied to the ‘Aviation’ badge, encouraging visitors to earn their stripes while taking in the surrounding landscape and show elements.

The narrative places Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings as a celebration of the adventurous spirit of Russell, Carl, Ellie and other characters from the film. Queue areas will be split into four zones that reference key story moments, with scenic details such as Carl’s childhood aviator helmet, goggles and Ellie’s adventure book used as physical touchpoints. Music from Up is set to feature, reinforcing the emotional connection for fans and extending dwell time in the wider Adventure Way area.

The attraction also broadens the family portfolio at Disneyland Paris, adding capacity in a ride category that supports high repeatability and strong visual presence without the footprint of a major coaster. With construction already under way following a formal start in November 2025, the 2027 debut will give Disney Adventure World a fresh IP touchpoint as it continues its long‑term transformation.
