WingZ of Wonder Takes Flight at Morgan’s Wonderland With Inclusive Tower Experience

WingZ of Wonder has opened at Morgan’s Wonderland, delivering a new benchmark in inclusive ride design at the world’s first Ultra‑Accessible theme park. The WingZ of Wonder interactive tower ride, developed with Zamperla, turns arm movements into controlled flight and is engineered so guests of all abilities can ride together. For Morgan’s Wonderland, WingZ of Wonder strengthens the park’s mission to place accessibility and shared family experiences at the heart of every attraction.

WingZ of Wonder stands around 12 metres tall and features butterfly‑themed gondolas arranged around a central rotating tower. Riders flap their arms to send their gondola gently up and down while the tower turns at about 2.5 rpm, with a smooth cable‑driven system keeping motion precise and comfortable. If a guest cannot generate the movement themselves, a companion in the same gondola can flap on their behalf, ensuring WingZ of Wonder remains a shared experience rather than a spectator moment. Ride stats indicate an instant capacity of 16 adults and a theoretical hourly throughput of about 320 people, with 90‑second cycles designed for repeatability.

Accessibility drives every aspect of WingZ of Wonder. Several gondolas are configured to accommodate wheelchair users without transfer, widening eligibility and reducing barriers for guests with higher support needs. Morgan’s Inclusion Institute worked closely with Zamperla’s engineers to co‑design boarding, restraint solutions and interaction so that WingZ of Wonder feels intuitive for as many riders as possible. The project follows earlier collaborations between the park and manufacturer, including Joy’s Happy Swing and Jette’s Wonder Bikes, and forms part of Zamperla’s broader push into All‑Access attractions.
