£2 billion to be invested in Yas Island in becoming a prominent tourism destination

Miral are to invest over £2 billion (AED 9 billion) in positioning Yas Island as a worldwide tourist destination for entertainment and leisure.

Miral is Abu Dhabi’s main creator of immersive destinations and experiences, having teamed up with prominent brands including Ferrari and Warner Bros. to create world-class theme parks. The company has invested £2 billion into Yas Island in the last decade.

Miral has a firm eye on the future with a commitment to enrich Yas Island as a global hotspot. Miral is leading the world’s first SeaWorld to open outside of the US, at Yas Island. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is scheduled to be completed in 2022, covering 183,000 sq.m, and will house the world’s largest aquarium.

Miral are undertaking an ambitious plan in line with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 to focus on the diversification of the Emirate’s economy.
