Adventure Island will have a new skyline in the shape of its new attraction.
The Southend amusement park has confirmed that City Wheel will be its newest attraction.
After a period of ride testing, City Wheel is scheduled to open on 17 December.
The base of the City Wheel is 36 meters high, 18 meters wide and 22 meters long. It will have 24 gondolas carrying 144 passengers.

At any given stop, City Wheel can take on board passengers riding on four gondolas.
The delivery of structure arrived from Turkey last month and was assembled within seven days.
