The building of the ‘Haixialian Island’ in Pingtan County, China project is now underway. The cultural tourism site will be a major tourism centre in the Pujian province of China.
The site will take advantage of the natural resources of its surroundings and will integrate culture and nature exploration, ecological tourism, aesthetic medicine, wellness and other recreational functions.
Haixialian Island has an investment of 8bn yuan (approximately US$1.12bn).
