Circuit of The Americas is preparing to open COTALAND, a 30-acre amusement park with more than 30 attractions beside the F1 track.

COTALAND Austin theme park is expected to open this summer at Circuit of The Americas in Del Valle, Texas. The 30-acre project will add more than 30 attractions beside the country’s only purpose-built Formula 1 racetrack.

The venue already hosts Formula 1, MotoGP, concerts and seasonal events. COTALAND Austin theme park gives the site a year-round leisure anchor. Circuit of The Americas describes the park as a racing-meets-theme-park offer. Its ride mix targets families, teenagers and thrill guests. The attraction list includes coasters, flat rides, children’s rides, a log flume and track-based experiences.

The headline coaster is Circuit Breaker. COTA lists it as Texas’s only tilt coaster and says it features a tilt drop. The ride has already operated for selected ticket holders during major COTA events.

Palindrome is another key ride. COTALAND describes it as the first infinity shuttle coaster in the US. The park also says it is the only steel coaster to pass over an active road.

Other named attractions include The Soggy Logger, Safari Adventure, Cloud Flyer, Medusa and Downforce. The site also lists Grand Carousel, Lil’ Logger, Tree House Bounce and Turbo’s Tilt-N-Twist. COTALAND places these rides across different intensity levels.

COTALAND Austin theme park will therefore test a hybrid model for regional attractions. It combines motorsport identity, thrill hardware and family programming within an existing events campus. For Austin, it also marks a significant new leisure offer in a fast-growing visitor market.
