Disney Cruise Line to restart Bahamian journeys from Florida

Listen to this article

The Disney Cruise Line, providers of family cruises with entertainment, is to voyage over the ocean once more, with trips to The Bahamas from Port Canaveral, Florida resuming on August 9.

Visitors will have to follow a series of health and safety measures to board the ship and sail. As part of the phased approach to resuming the Disney Cruise Line, 3 and 4-night sailings have been amended to include a day at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, rather than visiting Nassau in The Bahamas.

Covid-19 testing and safety requirements will also be mandatory for guests on the Disney Cruise. The company has also reduced guest capacity in order to achieve optimum physical distancing.

Adjustments have also been made on the ship to maximise health and safety, including more hand sanitiser stations. Face masks will also be mandatory in most public indoor areas.
