More than 100 hours of education sessions, workshops and presentations will be offered at the upcoming Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in Amsterdam.

Staged at the RAI exhibition centre (as pictured) from September 27 to 29, the event is presented by IAAPA EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). The accompanying EAS 2018 Conference Programme will be divided into seven different seminar tracks, covering guest experience, digital, revenue, global challenges, marketing and design. New this year and tailor-made for EAS Amsterdam, there will be a session focused on the saturated tourism market in the Dutch capital.

In addition to 17 general education sessions, EAS attendees can also participate in various in-depth learning programmes and events, including the

IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers at Efteling. This will take place ahead of the main event from September 21 to 24. Here, at the Netherlands’ no.1 theme park, participants will learn about finance, operations and safety, marketing and communications, revenue operations, human resources, and leadership.

One further off-site education opportunity will be the Halloween and Haunted Events Forum at Walibi Holland
on Thursday, September 27. Attendees will be provided with a backstage tour during the preparation of the park’s award-winning Halloween Fright Nights. Participants will also learn about the development, design, and marketing of a Halloween event for facilities of all sizes.

Back in Amsterdam, the IAAPA Safety Institute is scheduled for Monday, September 24.
Also on the 24th will be the FEC / Small Park / Indoor Playground Day and Animal Welfare Forum
. A Water Park Forum
 is planned for September 27.

There will be two Lunch and Learn sessions. On September 25, this wil be entitled Let’s Talk About Trends, where a task force will share the outcome of an analysis conducted on the current state of the attractions industry. The title of Wednesday’s (September 26) session is Train and Motivate Your Staff to Deliver Outstanding Guest
Experiences.

Participation in the Institutes, Forums and Lunch and Learn sessions requires a fee. General education sessions are included with registration for IAAPA members. Non-members must pay an additional fee.
