Preparations are being made to create an Experience Master Plan for the Meteor Crater & Barringer Space Museum located near Flagstaff, Arizona.
The Experience Master Plan will comprise of a five to ten-year vision for growth at the museum with the aim of achieving the venue’s full potential as being a unique cultural and educational centre for guests.
The Meteor Crater is a national natural landmark which is located 35 miles to the east of Flagstaff on the Colorado Plateau. The crater measures approximately one mile in diameter, 2.4 miles in circumference, and is over 550 feet deep.
NASA Apollo astronauts have trained at the venue, which is considered the best-preserved meteorite impact site on the planet.
The Experience Master Plan is being designed by the design company PGAV Destinations which is based in St. Louis.
