Combined attendance at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea was 15,518,000 in the first half of the fiscal year (April 1 to September 30) at Tokyo Disney Resort – a 105% increase over the same period in 2017.
This new record total, up 743,000 from last year, comes as the resort celebrates its 35th year. A new parade, called Dreaming Up!, the nighttime spectacular Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland and the newly-enhanced It’s a Small World, which opened in April, all proved popular.
New major attractions are promised. This winter, both parks at Tokyo Disney Resort will also host a variety of special Christmas special events, entertainment and activities.
