IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has announced IAAPA Expo Asia 2021 will not take place.

The event was due to be held in Shanghai, China this August.

The Expo in Shanghai and all related in-tour person tours and events have been cancelled.

Exhibitors are being encouraged to contact the IAAPA sales team about moving exhibit fees forward to any IAAPA Expo in Asia, Europe or Orlando in 2021, 2022 or 2023, or to discuss additional options available.

Those who purchased tickets are being issued refunds by IAAPA.

The event was originally scheduled to take place in Macau in June 2020. Due to Covid it was moved to June 2021. Earlier this year, the Expo was rearranged again, moved to Shanghai and postponed to August.
