Interlink, specialists in the design, manufacture and supply of water rides, is to provide its SumerFlume ride for a new waterpark located on Qetaifan Island North, Qatar.
The ride will be the first of its kind in Qatar. The attraction involves guests boarding a 20-seater themed boat. The boat will embark them on a journey that explores the history of oil in the region over the last century. It takes riders over a series of lifts and drops, as they whizz past different themed zones.
The ride’s finale plunges riders down a 10-metre-high water chute, followed by lifting them through a tower in a vertical lift featuring special effects.
