Orlando celebrates ‘Walt Disney World Day’

Orlando, Florida has proclaimed its own ‘Walt Disney World Day’. The day-long celebration of Walt Disney took place on December 3.

The announcement of the special day was made during an event taking place at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Following the announcement, volunteers at the food bank packaged over 500 boxes of meals for families in need throughout Central Florida.

The day saw cast members at Walk Disney World celebrate the special event. Walt Disney World fans were encouraged to join in the celebration by sharing their favourite Disney photos on social media, together with the hashtags #disneyworld50 and #disneycastlife.
