Parque Warner Beach adds Superhero slides

Madrid’s Parque Warner Beach has opened a new expansion courtesy of WhiteWater.

Located just outside the Spanish capital, the waterpark opened in 2014 as a second gate to the Parque Warner Madrid theme park, operated by Parques Reunidos. Its original slides and water play facilities were provided by Empex and Van Egdom. Now WhiteWater has supplied two new slide towers with attractions dedicated to various Justice League Superheroes.

One tower (above) is home to Superman and Wonder Woman and showcases three thrilling slides. These are a four-lane mat racer in Superman’s colours, an exhilarating Flatline Loop, as well as a daring inner tube slide that gives riders the chance to feel the speed of a flying Wonder Woman.

A Batman-themed tower (below) features The Joker, a saw-toothed Super Bowl, as well as two 4-person family raft rides – a Harley Quinn serpentine slide with both open and enclosed sections, plus a black and yellow Batman-themed AquaSphere and Rattler fusion.
