WhiteWater, a leading global water ride manufacturer, has announced a corporate-wide commitment to driving a more sustainable, environmentally friendly approach in all operations and products, as well as those of its suppliers.

The company’s commitment to implementing a fully sustainable approach, is part of its wider goals to reduce its carbon footprint and waste over the next 20 years.

The technology WhiteWater uses in the manufacture of its products features variable frequency drives to adjust pump seeds during operation. The pumps subsequently reduce the amount of energy and water used in processes.

WhiteWater aims to half its waste by 2030 and become fully ‘net zero’ by 2040. To achieve its carbon neutral objectives, the water ride manufacture will work closely with its partners and suppliers in relation to raw materials, energy consumption and end-of-life solutions. This is on top this, WhiteWater will be assessing its own product development and manufacturing processes.
