The Zhengzhou Yinji Animal Kingdom, an animal theme park located at Yinji International Tourism Resort, opened to the public on July 15.
The theme park covers an area of 570,000 sq. mt. and comprises of six themed areas and 19 large-scale attractions. The site came with an investment of 7 billion yuan (approx. US$0.99 billion).
The animal theme park is home to more than 3,000 species of rare wild animals. One highlight of the park is the ‘interactive animal watching vehicles,’ where visitors can jump on an amphibian-inspired sightseeing bus and VIP animal sightseeing bus to experience a close up view of the animals.
