New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key enjoyed a visit to the Sea Life London Aquarium in the UK on September 20, after taking up an invitation from venue partner Magic Memories.

Magic Memories is based in New Zealand, and Key, who is also the country's Minister of Tourism, was joined at Sea Life by Sir Lockwood Smith, New Zealand High Commissioner to the UK, Vicki Treadell, the British High Commissioner to New Zealand, and Merlin Entertainments managing director for midway attractions, Glenn Earlam.

The VIP visit took place before the venue opened to the public, and during the tour of the attraction Key and his fellow guests were able to learn more about the successful partnership Magic Memories is enjoying with Merlin Entertainments, and to see how staff – appropriately kitted out in their new life guard themed outfits – engage with visitors at the photo points around the venue.
