The French theme park has unveiled its plans for its new 36 million euro (£31.9m) Le Festival land.

And the centerpiece of the themed zone will be its new roller coaster, Toutatis.

Toutatis will include multiple launches, a top hat, and a spike, and will cover 3,527ft. Its tallest summit will be 167ft while the steepest drop will be at 101 degrees. Three trains will take riders along for a French revolution.

Toutatis will become a record-breaking – smashing numerous roller coaster landmark achievements. The coaster will feature 23 airtime moments, which would be a record for a steel coaster. It will possess seven launches – earning the European record. The ride will race along at speeds up to 66.5mph and will become France’s fastest roller coaster.

The ride is currently in testing mode with water dummies being used to evaluate the new coaster.

Toutatis will be accompanied in Le Festival Toutatis by Chez Gyrofolix, a Zamperla Nebulaz and Le Sanglier d’Or playground.

Toutatis and Le Festival Toutatis will open this spring and represents the park’s biggest investment and creation in its 34-year history.
