To celebrate its 15th birthday, Beijing Happy Valley theme park is launching its night-time project designed to enrich visitors experience of the theme park after dark.

The event will open on May 1, 2021, featuring eight new shows, each with a unique theme and style. Stage performances will take place on the Sanxingdui archaeological site, centred on an immersive acrobatic play set in Beijing in the early 1900s. There will also be a daily parade featuring 17 floats and more than 100 performers.

Technology will bring the event to life at night, including LED lights, and multimedia and interactive projections, installed throughout the theme park.

Zhao Xiaobing, general manager of Beijing Happy Valley, said the aim of the project is to make visitors experience of the theme park as enjoyable and fun as possible, through the constant improvement of products and customer service.
