Legoland Waterpark at Gardaland to open in June

Listen to this article

The highly awaited Legoland Waterpark at Gardaland in Italy is to open in June 2021. The 20-million-euro (approx.) waterpark was originally due to open in May 2020 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

When the Gardaland Resort opens to guests on June 15, visitors will be able to access the waterpark. The new addition to Gardaland will feature a Lego River Adventure and a lazy river where families can board inflatable boats that guests can customise using inflatable Lego.

Creation Island will be another focal point of the waterpark, where visitors will be able to build Lego creations, decorate sandcastles and build brick walls out of Lego.

The waterpark is home to a Miniland, which features Lego replicas of different iconic monuments in Italy, including the Tower of Pisa.

The waterpark will be a first standalone waterpark to be located at a Legoland resort.
