SeaWorld San Antonio launches Mardi Gras event with enhanced health and safety measures

SeaWorld San Antonio has launched the new SeaWorld Mardi Gras event, which kicked off on Saturday February 6,2021.

The whole park is adorned in traditional Mardi Gras attire. Taking centre stage is a New Orleans style carnival, complete with live music, flamboyant costumes, Mardi Gras inspired cuisine and drinks, as well as rides, animal encounters and coasters.

The event will also feature SeaWorld’s popular pin-trading pastime, which takes on a new twist with six new Mardi Gras-themed pins. Visitors can find the new pins, alongside masks, beads and other souvenirs, at the Jester’s Closet.

The event is running every weekend until February 28.

To ensure the safety of guests and employees, SeaWorld San Antonio has been modified. Stringent health and safety measures implemented throughout the resort include increased cleaning and sanitation docks, temperature checks, mandatory face coverings, as well as the significant reduction of daily capacity to ensure guests have plenty of space to roam the 250-acre park.

Reservations are required to be made before arriving at SeaWorld San Antonio.
