The Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, California, has made room for a new Wonder Woman single-rail rollercoaster.

The new attraction is coming to the DC Comics-themed area of the amusement park. It will replace the Flash: Speed Force ride, which was removed as part of the renovation of the DC Universe area.

The Wonder Woman Flight of Courage is a single rail coaster. Riders straddle a monorail track. Reaching a top speed of 58mph and elevating guests to a height of 131 ft., the ride is hailed as the tallest and longest attraction of its kind in the world.

Riders will descend an 87-degree initial drop. The 3,300 ft-long track features three inversion, a raven dive, zero gravity roll and a 180-degree stall.

Wonder Woman Flight of Courage is set to open in summer 2022. It was originally due to launch in 2021 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Further upgrades to the theme park will include a new restaurant, bar and retail shop.
