Universal Studios Beijing is currently hosting its first-ever ‘Universal’s Chinese New Year’ event.
The celebrations are running from January 22 until February 20, 2022.
The festivities include the featuring of Spring Festival-themed decorations and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy watching a new holiday-themed show, shopping for special New Year merchandise and wining and dining on speciality food and drink.
The park is also hosting a series of surprises for the Lantern festival and Valentine’s Day.
Joe Hoskin, executive vice president and general manager of Universal Beijing Resort, commented on the unique Chinese New Year celebrations: “We know Chinese New Year has special meaning for our guests. It is an honour to launch our first-ever Universal’s Chinese New Year to celebrate the festive moments of this season of reunion and renewal in a special way.
“We aim to create a new Chinese New Year experience that combines traditional culture and classic Universal moments to create a rich, festive experience for our guests,” Hoskin added.
