The UAE’s highly-anticipated new indoor theme park officially opens its doors on July 25. With six immersive lands spread over 1.65 million square feet, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi is a vast outlet of family fun.
Developed by Miral, “Abu Dhabi’s creator of destinations”, the facility is the third theme park at Yas Island, appearing alongside Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
“The launch of Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi is yet another milestone in the Emirate’s journey to further enrich its tourism offering, and help establish it as one of the world’s leading tourist destinations,” says is His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral. “It gives us great pride to have partnered with Warner Bros Consumer Products to launch the world’s largest Warner Bros branded indoor theme park.”

When guests step through the signature Warner Bros shield, they will enter an indoor world featuring many famous movie and cartoon characters appearing for the first time in the region. The huge, air-conditioned park promises to deliver captivating experiences to its guests. Featured are 29 state-of-the-art rides, interactive family-friendly attractions and unique live entertainment offerings, in addition to a variety of themed dining and shopping outlets.
“We have worked tirelessly with our partners at Miral to faithfully bring iconic franchises such as DC Entertainment, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera to life in a truly immersive and authentic environment,” says Pam Lifford, president of Warner Bros Consumer Products.
Those themed immersive zones are as follows:
• Warner Bros Plaza, an Art-Deco inspired land that celebrates the Golden Age of Hollywood and all things Warner Bros.
• Metropolis, a gleaming urban landscape protected from evil by DC Super Heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg and Aquaman.
• Gotham City, dark streets where guests can walk alongside notorious DC Super-Villains such as The Joker, Harley Quinn and The Riddler.
• Cartoon Junction, childhood memories come to life under year-round sunny skies alongside characters including Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry and Scooby-Doo.
• Bedrock, home to everyone’s favourite modern stone-age family, The Flintstones.
• Dynamite Gulch, featuring Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, Marvin The Martian and The Jetsons.
In addition to Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld, Yas Island is also home to the Yas Marina Circuit – home of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – as well as Yas Mall and a wide variety of world-class entertainment venues, hotels and restaurants.
