Jurassic World VeliciCoaster has soft opened to visitors at Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Florida. This means the ride is open but can close at any time, so guests are not guaranteed a ride.
Soft-launches enable team members to work out any ‘kinks’ and ensure park employees are sufficiently trained to operate the ride daily. Consequently, not all elements of the attraction may be in operation.
People visiting Universal’s Islands of Adventure when technical rehearsals of the new attraction are being carried out may be able to experience the rollercoaster.
Jurassic World VeliciCoaster is officially opening on June 10, 2021.
